Raza Hamdani, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist. After earning his medical degree at the University of Lagos in Nigeria, Dr. Hamdani completed his internal medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, critical care fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh and gastroenterology/hepatology fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
He specializes in gastrointestinal endoscopy, colon cancer, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, hepatitis C, cirrhosis, liver failure, acid reflux, stomach ulcers, abdominal pain, management of complex pancreatic and gastrointestinal disease and management of liver transplant recipients.
